After a well needed summer break, the class at Griffing is back in action with a crowd of 9 students. It's a nice mix of beginner and intermediate levels.
Most students are working on one of 3 afghan squares for our next donation project. We were all a little challenged with one of the patterns and it took several tries to get things looking like the photo in the pattern book.
This new afghan is being worked in shades of blues and purple with highlights in green and yellows. Can't wait to see it completed.
For students who want to progress past afghan squares I have offered scarves and fingerless glove patterns.
